Hollyhocks on Main
Hollyhocks on Main, located at 4090 Main Street, is a destination to visit when you are in Chincoteague. We feature an eclectic blend of home decor, vintage finds and whatever else strikes our fancy. So next time you are in town come browse our shop to your hearts content!
Inside the Shop
Hollyhocks has furniture, art, rugs, throws, lamps, candles, clocks and handmade items from all over the world. We search far and wide to find those one-of-a-kind items that will keep you coming back for more!
Seasonal Window Displays
At Hollyhocks we are open year round and constantly change our inventory and displays to keep it fresh. So take a stroll downtown to see our latest seasonal window and check out the new merchandise!
Michel Design Works
Hollyhocks carries their cocktail and luncheon napkins, tea towels, glass soap dishes and more! We have room sprays and moisturizing soaps in lovely herbaceous scents such as Lemon Basil and Lavender Rosemary.
Hollyhocks appreciates the art of ephemera and we love the vintage inspired items from this San Francisco based company. We offer their greeting cards, postcards, sticky notes and notebooks in multiple sizes.
Rag Rugs & Jute Rugs
Every room needs a pop of color and throw rugs are the perfect solution. We also carry jute rugs which work well in entries, kitchens and hallways.
All are quite durable and require only a light sweep or shake to clean.
Garden of Delights
We love our garden corner… it is full of adorable accents for your home or favorite nature lover. From vintage flower frogs and silver spoon plant markers to seed packets for fragrant flowers and songbirds to unique pots, colorful twine and garden gloves all displayed on a rustic potting shelf.
DC Designs Jewelry
DC Designs is the brain child of the talented, Dana Conklin, a resident of Chincoteague. She hand crafts sterling silver earrings and necklaces and according to Dana, “each creation is made so the wearer has a great vibe.”
Entertaining Made Easy
Hollyhocks carries entertaining essentials from placemats and runners to napkins in seasonal colors. We also have candles, wood slabs, wicker trays and cake stands to help you create an eclectic and magical tablescape!
Fair Trade & Community Support
We source globally and look for companies that engage in Fair Trade and support the environment and local artisans. We also seek out Etsy and Chincoteague artisans to provide unique handmade products and help small businesses like ours. It’s one big community here at Hollyhocks!
We create a new inspiration board each season which focuses us on what to buy and how to display it. Our inspiration comes from magazines, catalogs, décor books, blogs and Pinterest boards. And of course, retail therapy!

Bits & Bobs
At Hollyhocks we search for merchandise that will not only enhance your life but is affordable. And sometimes it’s the small things that make us the happiest… from a pretty matchbox to honey lip balm to lavender wands.
We Love Candles!
We carry Vance Kitira Timber tapers and pear candles in a range of colors as well as a wide array of Chesapeake Bay and Votivo candles. We also have pillars, votives, tealights and seasonal scents plus lots of candle holders!
We love Mira’s Naturals products! We carry their sanitizing spray made with essential oils, honey lip balm and 100% cotton hand knit exfoliating clothes. Throw in a moisturizing spa soap from Michel Designs and pamper yourself!
Cleansing & Sparking
We are believers in Marie Kondo’s “The Magic Art of Tidying Up” and the focus on what sparks joy in our life. Also we do regular sage cleansings to remove negative energy from our surroundings. Which is why we carry Marie Kondo’s book and sage cleansing kits… its a full circle thing!
In the News & Around Town
Hollyhocks is excited to be featured in the December 2018 issue of Eastern Shore First! And we’re happy to sponsor the annual Historic Main Street Merchants Homes for the Holidays Tour. All proceeds benefit the Manna Café CI who provide free hot lunches every Monday to area residents.
